I got the same head, but the 055XPROB legs.

That's the same setup I have Maru. I love the feature on the tripod that allows it to go horizontal. Or rather, I'd love it if I ever used it. :D

Sounds as though this is the setup to have. I am looking for a new tripod setup. My girlfriend bought me one for Christmas last year. But at that time all I had was the Canon SX10IS, which is pretty light compared to the camera/lens I'm using now. Everyone please post reviews

These are the legs I'm eyeing up for my 322RC2 Grip Action Ballhead (which I think is the same setup Sean has).

And now that Passover has past and b&h is open again I will be placing my order if I can't find them in the market place.

My list of favourite photographers just grew by a few more - so instead of naming each one will just saw - GR8 SHOTS EVERYONE. Keep 'em coming.

2 more from the monastery visit.

The old monk was just beginning to walk up that long steep road and was taking a break. Dedication!

One for the tilt-shifters.

Yesterday, visited a 1000+ years old monastery undergoing restoration. It is high up on the hills and can be reached only on a very steep one way road. Had to walk up that road as our cab could only take us half-way up. Must be a real challenge getting building materials and workers to that place.

The complete series can be viewed from here

Btw, this new Sigma 17-50 is simply amazing. None of the pics needed sharpening (but did it anyway out of habit). Another thing was how close it could go - the bug was shot from very close range with the lens hood almost touching the pillar. Wow!

Great shots Bobo, and well worth that hike up the mountainside I suspect.

berassic, that is a pretty impressive set. Another T2i user shining with just the kit and a nifty-fifty! Looking forward to seeing more of your work. (that shot in the field of yellow flowers is particularly nice).

A last one from my shooting my wife and kids before work/school this morning. For those thinking of getting a lens but aren't sure which to get, if you shoot a lot of people (or would like to) I really recommend an 85mm!

Thanks Anne, no it was a walkup from mid way. Cars cannot go past that point as the road steepens up even more and gets too narrow for vehicles.

You can see just how steep from the pic of the truck in the Picasa link.

The truck was taking up a huge tree, probably to be transplanted somewhere. How they were going to get it further up would have been an interesting sight.

Click on the photo you want to post (on your flickr page), and at the top will be a share link. Use the little arrow drop down at the end, and you'll find an option for "bb code." Make sure that one is marked, and then find the size you wish to post and highlight the code for that. Then all you have to do is paste it in a reply box.

Just repeat for as many as you want to show. I think the limit is 8.

While on the subject of posting pics. Flickr pics are embedded so that clicking the pic takes one to the main pic and we can see the exif and other info.

How to do that with Picasa ? I usually post a direct link. How to post a clickable link ?
