Peter2516 - yeah 2600 is too much... i have seen them locally for 1500.... used on CL... thought that way some day... but any lens at $1k and up is too much for me!!!!!! especially used!!!!!!

Have you considered the 70-200 F4 IS? i have the none IS one but do wish i had the IS version when at 200mm, it has had great reviews as well. Its a lot cheaper than the 2.8 version.

Thanks! It's an old picture but it was one of "Those" days. Little bit of PP done. Other than image resizing no cropping was done.

Here is another from that same set.

well im using a 24-105L f/4 now.. and the f4 in low light is what is making it difficult...
pics come out ok... i could get a tammy 17-50 but it doesnt have the reach.... i use 55-105 roughly at the school events... i could stretch the 70 to work....

Thanks. And I didn't know they had horse racing in Hong Kong. I figured that was pretty much strictly British/American thing.

Did you place any bets?

I agree anything beyond $1k used is too much for me too, that is why I settled for Non IS and got mine in CL for $525 which I think is the right price for Non IS used. But you know I wished I have an IS version of F4L.
