We all have our strengths and our weaknesses, and I'd venture to say that most of us are generally not always thrilled with our shots. But stand back and pay attention. For me, just looking at other people's shots, as well as my own, becomes a great learning tool. Especially when there's exif info available. I've spent 30-40 years shooting, with not a clue about exposures, etc. I just never could get it. Since joining this group though, I AM getting it. And I'm getting the hang of a little PP where needed, although I don't like to go overboard. And you know what? I know there are one or two people here who don't agree with me, but even if your shot isn't perfect, just hearing someone say something nice goes a long way towards making us want to do better. And the result is, we do better. Both of you really need to go back a few months, and look at your shots, and then look at what you've been doing recently. It's mind boggling is what it is. The beauty of this forum is we can find beauty in just about anything, and isn't that wonderful? Thanks Annie for encouraging words..... Peter

Yep, this one definitely had what in my day we called a Hollywood muffler. That's what made me look out the window...it was pretty noisy!!

Basketball isn't that popular here, but everybody hopes, that Dirk kicks Miami's ass ![]() GOOOOOOOOOOO MAVS!!!! ![]() Well, he sure did it last night, although I can't stand the guy personally. I can't believe the Mavs came from a 15 point deficit in the last ten minutes, and pulled it out by 2 points.
