Okay.. here's an example:
I resized this to 900 at the longest end, and saved it as a mid size (5). That became something like 87.2 kb in this case. So, no problem using that little paperclip icon above; browsing for the photo I want, and uploading.
Now, I just click on the paperclip thingie again:
Voila!! If all went as it should, exif should be embedded and will show up with a right click of my mouse.
Again though, this limits you to two photos per post. And I believe (could be wrong on this one), if you use that "size for the web" function, you won't have the exif embedded. I always just use a "save as" for my shots.
Okay.. that worked nicely, and I even had the option to copy the exif data with just a click of the mouse:
