A new pedestrian bridge opened up not too far from where I live. It is one of the longest self-anchored pedestrian suspension bridges in the world! Here are just some that I took. I also finally took a portrait that I am happy with, shown below. Please let me know what you think!

Wow, what cool, moody shots. They are wonderful, although the surreal, almost gothic feeling of them is kind of at odds with parking lots, cars, etc. The fisheye lens style is very potent. I look forward to seeing more.
The self portrait is really nice, too:) I was surprised, though, that you are a young woman! (Perhaps I knew before and forgot...) POTN is so male-dominated I tend to assume people without obviously feminine names or avatars are men:o

Great pictures N4ck! Love the sky in all of them and in the first one, it looks like the bridge is falling over! Keep it up.

I don't quite know how to break it to y'all, but N4ck is not a female. What he said was he finally got a portrait he was happy with. Not that he got a self portrait. LOL

Here's his profile from his blog:

Weather is still a bit rough here at the moment so I have been experimenting indoors, managed to take a picture of my son as he was upset about having to wait for his banana.

And if looks could kill!!! If this shot isn't one for the memory books, I don't know what is.

I need everyones opinion please. Hubby and I are going on an Alaskan Cruise in June. I want to upgrade my lenses. I am planning on buying the 100 - 400mm because I love wildlife photography, what other lens would be good to pair with this one? I have been considering the Sigma 10 -20 or the Canon 18 - 135mm to give me more of range. Then I would sell both of my kit lenses. What lenses would you choose( doesnt have to be any of these)

That's an amazing shot, and I know what you mean about fish being difficult to shoot, so be proud of this one.

I was out this morning, watching the behavior of a crow who seems to have moved into the 'hood. Very fascinating, but also difficult to get a lot of decent shots, because he/she was very busy. I'll show you with what a little later. Still going through the 176 shots I took in about an hour or so.
