It gets great reviews on Amazon and B&H. The only drawback (for me) is that it does not have HSM, but that may not be an issue for you since two of your Canon lenses don't have USM. Mark-B

Sure you'll have $250 fewer dollars, but you'll still have a lens you like. And really, $250 doesn't go that far toward the 24L. Image editing and C&C always OK

! 85L is surely not better on a crop than a sig 85F1.4. On a FullFrame 85L1.2II is surely sharper and more impressive.
