580EXII vs 430EXII - mixing w/ cybersyncs

Hi guys -

I have 1 580exii and 1 430exii. For now, I think it will be enough for me. Is there anything to look out for? Like, when I set the 580EXII to 1/8 power should I know that the 430EXII needs more or less power?

Basically, what are the differences in the two units - and, if I were to pick up a 3rd flash, what would people recommend? I have a Nikon SB600 laying around that I will use but I was wondering what is the preference in the Canon line.
