A friend of mine bought a new car, and I did a small photoshoot.

Best one is #7 IMO. The natural habitat of a car is the asphalt, the sandy terrain looks a bit out of place but technically they look good.

It would have been nice to see some shots on the side of the car with the sun hitting it! The beach shots are a little flat. I think I would like #4 the best if it weren't for the ricer angle. Good looking car though, it looks like it was well maintained!

Cheers for the feedback guys, appreciate it! I have seen recently a few shots of cars on beach and they looked awesome, so wanted to try. Asphalt is great, but time to try something else as well :) I've always stated that I wil do those angles (ricer or whatever somebody wants to call them), because this is what I do, imo they are 100% better than standard straight level ones, as in my opinion that technicque describes the older generation photos aka old school stuff. #1 is the same as #4 with the same set up just straight line, therefore posted both! But cheers anyway!

Thanks, I still haven't bought a CP filter, so finding a place where to shoot without reflections is tough!

I don't use one 99% of the time. I'd rather find the right location & angle on the car. But that doesn't mean that you can't try one. It's just personal preference, except that I find that when I remove the bad reflections, I also lose some of the good ones. And polarizers usually make the late model headlight plastic covers & some windshields show a "rainbow", and I can do without that.

im with photos guy, most cpl just move the reflection into a more annoying place, better off finding a open area.
