OK, I think it is time to move on and let other member post their photo for a new game.

It is Asia Society on Park & 70 Street in NYC
http://manhattan.smugmug.com …51_WgtrG#1227992497_iYdaB (external link)
The Mural is behind the Asia Society white plastic behind the people.

The mural is on the lower floor, where they held private function like these.
Above is the Shop and Museum. (my answer was correct however that it is located in neither shop or museum)

Pardon me for pointing it out, but the place is called the Asia Society and Museum, and you said it wasn't a museum! (Or is that another building?)

If you want to point out the technicality
Opened in November 2001, the impressive new Asia Society building is home to new gallery spaces which significantly expand the number and range of exhibitions the Asia Society and Museum offer, a redesigned entrance lobby on Park Avenue and public spaces on the first floor create a gracious and engaging space for visitors to linger and learn.

I wonder how Tkadrum obtained the photo. The admission rules for the building say that photography is nowhere allowed within the building.... :)

Henk,
I could email you my original photo if you like? I was there on a private tour and the director gave me permission to take just that photo.
