I'm not sure what I think of the photo, but this is more of practice at editing. What do you guys think? And yes I realize that there is a spot on the right that is way over exposed and signs that say slow have a glare, wasn't sure how to fix that.

First is before, second is after. If that wasn't obvious haha..

Sorry, but the photo itself doesn't warrant alot of editing to me. It really won't lend itself to an editing lesson.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Flo is right that there is not a lot comment on, but here are a couple of comments anyways.

1 - Increasing the contrast helps make the photo look less washed out, but it can be overdone which makes it look less real. This edit seems like you went a little too far and it is starting to look fake to me.

2 - The blow out areas of the photo make the high contrast worse. If you are going to do PP i highly recommend shooting in raw so you at least have a chance to recover these highlights. But in this case it's so bright I'm not sure you could anyways.

Check out this raw thread to see the power of shooting in raw

Commenting just on the post processing, I think you cranked in too much contrast, as the darker areas are now quite "grungy". As long as you are working on the image I suggest eliminating that purple glow on the right side. Finally you could apply a bit more sharpening.

I'm sorry to say that I agree with Flo on this one. You have a dark parking garage with daylight on the right side. There's no formula that's going to solve that problem, except HDR. And we've seen how that can be abused. I also agree that the subject is just not interesting enough to warrant any effort at post processing.

I know the photo isn't that interesting, I was just trying to jazz it up a bit. Guess I over did it. I try again with something else. Thanks for the feedback anyways.

If you try to balance the light on both sides it would help. Not sure what you are using to edit but in CS5 it would be a fairly simple fix in ACR or Photoshop. I'd use the gradient tool first.

I agree the photo isn't much outside an exercise.
