You'll enjoy the 7D. I went from a 50D to 7D as well and couldn't be happier, it's a great camera. The additional customization and AF settings will take a little while to get used to but it's not bad at all.

Congratulations but I wonder how long it will be before you upgrade to a 5DMk3. Members are beginning to really rave about full-frame.

Congatts on your coming 7D!:D I bought mine a couple months back to go with my 60D. 7D is a monster of a camera, and you may be overwhemed at first, but you'll get thru that and will come to love it. Read all you can on the 7D before it comes. It will be a huge help. Again Congrrats!!:D:D

Congratulations. You will love the 7D it is great but don't worry about upgrading to the 5D3 as no one knows when it is coming, no one knows the spec and no one knows the price. Full frame is nice but I don't think members are "beginning to really rave" about it. That has been going on for some time.

Some of us love full frame, some of us love APS C, some of us love APS H. Some of us love all three  Don't get hung up about it. They are all great and they are all different.

If I had to sell all my kit and just keep 1 camera it would be the 7D as it does everything extremely well. For the money it must be the most versatile camera available.

Enjoy it, I am sure you will

Very lucky to have a lot of nice toys :)
