Last week I went up to the lake, it was mostly cloudy but I thought that would make for some moody and interesting images. Well, after shooting a bunch of photos and getting the home I realized I did not really like the shots that I got.

So, I got out again under pretty much the same conditions, well until I got there and the clouds pretty much cleared, I figured I would try it again, not try to force shots like I think I did last time I was out. And this time, shoot more for my self. The shots came a bit more natural and to me, came out better. This time I was armed with my "P" sized singh-ray grads although I mostly stuck with the 3 stop soft. I also used a polarizer in the mix.

Here is a handful I got tonight while I was out:

Much better than your last outing, I like 1, 2, 3, 5 especially. The last 3 are similar but #5 is better for me due to the composition.

Nice job.

Nice pictures! Love the colors.
The only thing I might have done would be to straighten the horizon a little in a couple of them.
