I have cybersync's and love them. They fire every time. The only plus is the PWII range, but the Cybersync's are good up to at least 400ft, more than I can imagine using them at.

I use the Cybersync's to trigger my strobes in basketball gyms and larger arenas. They work great. Even down the hall or in an adjoining room (that has a window). I press the test button and see the flash from the hall way.

I am in the process of selling the Cybersync's to go to Pocket Wizards solely because I am using them for remote camera operation and the Cybersync doesn't support continuous firing.

The receiver (CSRB) is well built and the transmitter (CST) is small and very light weight.
Hope this helps. You won't be disappointed.

Used to shoot CyberSyncs and then moved to Plus IIs. Sometimes I shoot wiht other folks and Plus II are nice. Also what Mike mentioned above.

In my case I added miniTT1 to the mix and can get benefits of HyperSync without getting FlexTT5 (which I do own BTW). This is because HyperSync feature is only on Tx side so miniTt1 as Tx works with Plus IIs are Rx.

One more thing with PW you can use the PW radio in your seikonic lightmeters and trigger them nicely when metering lights. Well worth extra cost of Plus IIs IMHO.

I use Cybersync and love them. No complains at all.

If you're using Profoto light gear then it might be worth staying with PW so you can use the build-in receiver. If you shoot with people that use PW might be worth staying with PW.

There's no wrong answer here.

That said, I use CyberSyncs (Cyber Commander adn CSRB+s) and love them.

I believe that what they mean is that as a plunger, you can't just hold the button down for burst shooting, you have to click it for each shot

on the camera's hot shoe though, it can do burst shooting

I've used both and I find that I really like the cybersync system.

If you are using remotes, or anything that you need to fire past 400FT, go with PW.

within 400ft, go with cybersync imo. The other nice thing about the cybersyncs is the very short latency-shorter than PW. I've found that on my XXD bodies, I can sync to 1/320--past the sync speed--without a black line. a PW II at 1/320 would give a black line.

Cybersyncs have a repeater mode to extend the range. It just requires an extra receiver.
