I'm not sure where to post this, but has anyone else noticed this almost shopping robot mentality that some people have? It seems to have really picked up since the creation of sites like Woot! Groupon, Fat Wallet, etc. There are people who literally sit back all day and search for deals. These people rarely go outside.

Some of the comments pertaining to the Japan disaster have just made me shake my head. Do you think these people who are fleeing radiation, whose houses have been flooded, whose relatives and pets have died and whose future is in question give a crap about lenses?

Some people just need to go outside for a walk. Get off the net. Get exercise. Stop shopping, stop obsessively looking for deals and take a look at the world.

unfortunately, some people require a significant event in their life to change their perspective, something 2,000+ miles away doesnt qualify for...nothing that hasnt been there before, just that the internet helps us to see more of it..for better or worse
