I loves me some roller derby! Nice shots!

That Jammer's star... I don't think I've ever seen one like that?

Just noticed that. Maybe a computer geek does their jammer panties.

I'm a computer geek. I'm dating a jammer. But I don't sew. :D

Do you use multiple strobes when you shoot or just one? I've used two before and am probably going to go to 3 soon once I re-purchase some 580's. (I'd use 430's but would rather just go with the 580's since I've had 2 before)

***Just got clarification from my derby team: if it's not a sanctioned bout they don't have to wear the 5-point star panties.

That makes sense, only one of those two teams is WFTDA.

These were shot with a single strobe on camera. I have used two off camera strobes in the past in a different venue with very nice results. Our home venue just changed to a much bigger convention center floor versus a rink, so I'll be trying that again for our home bouts.

I will never understand the culture and dedication surrounding this sport but I will always love it.
