What type of modifier is used for these shots? Beautydish?

Also, thought you'd be interested to see a quasi setup shot...I usually take them, but I guess I never did for this one. The second original image you linked to was a drafted cover of a book I'm working on, and it doesn't really show the size of the seamless (53"). Anyway, may show a little more of the quality of light/distance of the light to subject.

yes sir, more strangers :) - weather is nice and it's almost noon, the time when people start to venture out... so I'm about to head out in about an hour.

regarding the BD/Grid, i'm excited to try em'... i'm honestly anxious about them because of the 'unknown'...:(

Nice, good luck with the strangers, I'm sure your photographs will be excellent, as all the others have been!

...and you have nothing to be anxious about, it's a new tool that will help you get a new look, and I know you're more than competent man. You'll be fine. Plus, there seem to be plenty of non-judemental, helpful people here too if you have questions :)
