The sigma was going to be about $500 new with a quality uv filter. I actually ordered the sigma and cancelled the order before it shipped because I found a used 35L for $1,100. I honestly did not want to deal with the quality control issues with the siggy, and I figured I would keep the 35L for a long time especially went I wanted to upgrade to FF in the future....Ya a $600 price difference but what the heck I had the extra money to do it...
I have had the 35L on my camera for about 3 weeks now and it is an amazing lens indoor and outdoor
