Decided to give exposure blending another shot since the image I posted yesterday seemed a little bit unnatural to some due to a noticeable exposure difference in the foreground and sky.
Let me know if this looks a little better:
Thanks everyone!

DavidArbogast Cream of the Crop More info | I like it. The image has a good composition, that expresses a beautiful natural phenomenon: A colorful background sky juxtaposed against a colorful rocky foreground that serendipitously share the same color scheme! Your exposure blending helps articulate that, which is why it becomes a very interesting/compelling image to me. The only thing I dislike about the image is that it appears that there is some ghosting in the sky area adjacent the left-most leaning tree trunk. David | Flickr

I'll echo what the others have said about color of sky and rocks working well together. I am also not a big HDR fan, but the exposure blending works well on this image. ---------------

FWIW, Im not an HDR fan either but I do like the look of a nicely blended image from multiple exposures when the dynamic range is too great. But, I dont really like the PROCESS of exposure blending so Im hoping my new GND's can save me some time in that department... Just to clarify I'm in the anti anti HDR crowd. Meaning I genuinely appreciate the value that HDR brings to the art of photography and am opposed to the hdr-hatin' crowd. David | Flickr
