I think you did a nice job John. I like the non-traditional poses and the location looks pretty sweet!

Only thing I would say would be to try and make her skin tone/white balance look the same in all the pictures. Some pictures it looks blue and some it looks red...and I think a tan(ish) skin tone would better make her dark hair.

Very nice work, John! I looked at the series from your link. I hope you don't mind a few comments.

From your Zenfolio series...

1. Very nice. Very Zen, very relaxed.

4 is excellent. Love her eyes, love the look. Excellent composition, nice lighting.

7 is like, OMG. Her eyes and hair are just beautiful. Again, lighting and composition are just outstanding. I actually have a critical comment. Either her lower arm (in the upper right corner) should be connected to her upper arm, or it shouldn't be in the photo.

8 and 9. I think the b&w works better, though I know people who would say that mixing b&w and color in a set is a Bad Thing. C'est la vie, non?

11-13. The window in the lower left is distracting.

17. Great photo.

18. "Let me out!" No.

20 & 21. Neat concept. The latter works much better. Very nice composition and lighting.

22-24. The lighting in 23 is Just Right. I don't know if this is the best of the three, but it certainly is on lighting. 22 & 24 seem harsh.

Overall a great series John! Do a heritage set if you wish, but she'd be wonderful in a glamour series too. Besides, she likes working with you. It's obvious.

I like this series, but felt compelled to do a quick edit on the last 3.
Hope you don't mind, I tried to remove some of the distractions. I like #1 BOS. #2 is a great look and pose, but the eye's look overdone to me.

Native American? She sure doesn't look it, unless you are a different definition for that. The pattern behind her in photo 1 really distracts from the girl. And one thing about your zen site: color schemes keep switching between home page, gallery page, etc. Keep it consistent.
