I use the (very expensive) Apple Pencil as a replacement needle, works for me.

Wouldn't that be the iPencil? Last I heard there are lines hundreds of feet long of all the Apple iSheep waiting to get their hands on the iPencil. Of course, Samsung has had the Galaxy pencil for a few years now and even Nokia has had their version of the Pencil for even longer.

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, if the one you love buys you an iPad Pro with the £119 pencil, you don’t complain!

Hmmmm.

When you wrote that, it was actually a bit less than 1/32nd over.

Are we a bit fractionally challenged?

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Hmmmm

12 divide 365 equals .032876712
1 divide 32 equals .03125

12 divide 365 is less than 1 divide 32 so it is not over (as you wrote) it is under.

Are you also a bit challenged?

Why would you be dividing by 12?

He posted at 5:20 AM on the 12th of January. . So we had completed 11 days, 5 hours, and 20 minutes of the new year. . Not 12 days.

Also, when I wrote "over", I was saying that the year was about 1/32nd over. . "Over" as in "completed". . Not "over" as in "over" or "under" a certain amount.

365 / 12 = 30.41667

So on Jan 12th the year was (rounded) 1/30th complete; with 29/30th still to go!

I off now to see if I can get a life.

Well, while you have been arguing, 2027280 seconds of 2021 are now in the rear view mirror. The year is now 6.42844685438863% over with only 29508725 to go. Stop arguing and get out there and do something. :):):)
