Jonzjob was making a funny. If you ask him how to use your Mac, beware. He may just tell you to bake it with cheese sauce.

Not too sure where cheese comes in to this OH -? It would make a mac very sticky to wear

Oh, and I don't wear a mac any more, I have a 'The North Face' waterproof these days. So much better at keeping me dry when I'm flying my RC gliders 8-)

Nearly forgot Charles. It could be this link

I just found doing "Properties" does not match the date in the way GibJock taught me.

Why would that be?

Charles, I don't think I've ever seen that before? Maybe there's a date within the file's metadata getting pulled?
Other than that, I don't have a clue why the discrepancy.

Not intentional, there was one wrong character in the link, now corrected. You can also use Jonzjob's link, which goes to the same place.

Nice rainbow!

I just found doing "Properties" does not match the date in the way GibJock taught me.

Why would that be?

The explanation on why the dates are different is pretty straight forward. There are several date fields,
Date Modified = last time you touched the file
Date Created = Date the file was created in the file system.
and Date = which is sort of special. If you have jpegs in the directory, it pulls in the date taken from the exif.

So, all three dates can be different based on its function.
