The Olds 88 was my dad's goto car. He had several over the years. They were boat like, but I agree, the ride was so smooth.

I have never purchased a new car for myself. My wife has, but mine have always been used or program cars. Right now I'm driving an 20 year old Econoline van. I'll drive it until it dies and get another used. Thinking a F150. I need the hauling ability.

Mrs icopus gets the new cars and then they are handed down to me as the work car... except for this last used car I got because we weren't ready to sell hers yet; A reconditioned 2012 Honda Civic. When will I ever learn?!? Runs well, but it's very old looking and ugly. Well, maybe it suits me.

What do you mean, it was a great car. Got me my first real job as a VW mechanic at our local Texaco. I saw the car after he finished it. It looked great.
