Well, carbs can be pretty scary especially to those keto folks. They go crazy in the presence of carbs.

I'm working on carbs today. The fella I'm working with was just trying to yank low speed idle screw out. I had to inform him he had to turn the screw in counting the turns to seat it, then unscrew it to remove it. Kids now a days.

Otherwise I was working on this.

He is supposed to be working on drawings as well, but his computer is giving him fits, his new one was supposed to be delivered today, alas the date has changed to the 25th. He is more excited about the yearly Canadian fishing trip the boss and other guys go on. The kid is taking lead this year from the boss, his father. Following?

My son saw my tach and dwell meter and timing light and had no clue what they were for. He though it was some gun for a video game i think.

The scariest part is the partially hydrogenated oil and some other ingredients that you can't figure out unless you have a degree in chemistry. Then there's the white flour. Bland, lacking in nutrition, and no help with moving things along, if you know what I mean.

When I worked on cars using those tools, it was a game. Many levels had to be replayed before I finally won.

While most of those car tune up tools have been thrown away, I believe I still have a couple of gap gauges.

What would be interesting to know, are cancer occurrences less for folks not consuming the chemistry lab of ingredients in processed foods.

Personal data.. My mom was a health food not, stopped smoking in her early 30s, drank little, and exercised regularly. She died of cancer at 56. My aunt, her sister, lived a hard life. Was an alcoholic on and off her whole life. Quit smoking in her early 80's, ate bacon, doughnuts, junk food her whole life and dies at 95 of covid. I'm sticking with doughnuts.

Sounds like my mom who has been overweight by quite a bit her entire life. She's 81, has Alzheimer's but is otherwise in perfect health. She's been a potato chip muncher her entire life. She doesn't get them as much any more and has been on the assisted living diet for well over a year. She eats much less but has gained more weigh, likely from being more sedentary. My neighbor, a very large lady is the same, lives alone in her own home and is 96. She's a bacon and eggs gal, that will drink sour milk and always has snacks. Sometimes it's just genetics I guess.

I don't know the answer, although I believe colon cancer is related to diet, but also to heredity and other things. Eating the bad kinds of fats makes heart and blood-vessel troubles.

I still have some gap gauges laying around. Life was simpler with $1.99 gap gauges vs $1299.00 hand-held diagnostics gear with more power than my macbook. I remember when timing lights were cool. Sure, they gave the neighbor kid seizures, but still, they were cool.

And they sort of made you think you could touch the fan blades. I mean they were standing still after all.
