That is sweet! And looks awesome as well. And only 3999.99. I should get two, one for the front, one for the back. It got 4 stars, so you know it's good.

They have less expensive ones.

Yeah, but it's like finding a Vette and your dad telling you a Vega will do the same thing, just not as fast and for a lot less money.

I always wanted a Chevelle. Like a 70 Chevelle with the 454. Always liked the look of that car. Friend had one but it had the 6 in there and was a bit unimpressive. Looked great but unimpressive.

CORvette. My best friends dad had one when we were kids. It was a 72, the Vette blue. When he hit the gas i was thrown back into the seat. Loved that car. My friend still has it. After his father died it was passed down to him.

Not smacking the Chevette. At least those didn't explode if you tapped the rear bumper like the "other" little car.

Chevelles are also cool. I was always a Camaro guy tho. I had the 1980 blue Camaro. Pretty stock, but I loved that car.

I worked for a Chevy dealership in the late 80's. Boss had 2 untitled 1978 anniversary cars, one with 18 miles, the other 300. In 1988 they drove like brand new. He would take them out once a year for his annual car show. He had a mint 1954 Blue corvette, his 1918 Chevy family owned since the dealership was new and a gorgeous early 60's Impala Convertible I was also able to drive the prototype 1st ZR1 that was used at the Milwaukee Auto Show. It was already pretty abused, but the dealer brought it back to newish condition. I was able to drive most year Corvettes at the time, the late 70's cars had extremely long hoods.

My 1984. Got it for a deal, sold it when I got married.

I agree with Charles! Beautiful car. The hood on the 72 Vette was seriously long and heavy, I do remember that. I remember the Anniversary cars too. I graduated high school in '78 and one of our teachers had one that he would park far away from the other cars in the teachers lot. My friends dad was an engineer for GM and helped design them. Sadly, he also helped design the Chevy Citation which I think was voted one of the worst cars ever made. He drove one of the company owned vehicles, but that only lasted about 5 months and he exchanged it for the Sunbird. He took some crap for being partly responsible for the Citation. Poor guy. It was thanks to him that I bought the Sunbird in '79. It was cheap, but pretty cool with it's lil 4 banger and hatchback.

And happy Juneteenth!!!! I had to Google that as I was "away" when that became official.

I had a 1978 Sunbird with the V6. seriously awesome car. As for the Citation, I purchased one (an X11) from a bank repo for $200. It needed a clutch and I took the interior out for a deep cleaning as the previous owner must of smoked like a chimney. I did all of the work myself, so it was a cheap ride. I must admit the suspension was incredible on the thing and could corner like nobody's business. I drove it a couple years, and passed it to my brother who used it a couple years and passed it to my other brother. It died the day he bought his 1st new car.

You used your personal touch to put new life into the Citation it seems. It was waiting to die until it's replacement showed up, then right on queue.
Everyone I knew who had one had nothing but issues. Looking at it online, it was successful, quirky, flawed and ultimately one of few generations of cars which attracted the US Governments attention due to the number of complaints. My friends dad admitted it was a rush job from GM and didn't receive the attention or time needed to be a more successful offering. The X-body included the Citation, the Phoenix, the Omega and the Skylark. It appears people now are finding them and bringing them back to life. Maybe the re-birth will redeem the integrity and respect it deserve(s)(d).
