But lots of things taste good whose ingredient lists don't read like the inventory of a chem lab. Taste good and good for you are opposite ends of the food/nourishment spectrum. The better the taste, the less healthy I have found. Twinkies are ok but not a match for a properly home made sponge cake or a home made chocolate cake. However, they do in a pinch and are better tasting deep fried. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

The better the taste, the less healthy I have found. I really want to avoid trans fats and the additives I don't understand. Of course, homemade is better than mass-produced, but then there goes your time. Local bakeries have good stuff, and one reason is their stuff is fresh (we hope). Fresh is important. What the *£$& is a brisket Sammy? Beef brisket the breast section of a cow. Here in Texas it is a very common cut as it smokes wonderfully. One of those meats you slow smoke for hours or even over night. It is a very flavorful cut especially with a nice dry rub. Anyway, smoke it for a time until tender, slice thin and stack it up on a hunk of bread. Pour some BBQ sauce over it, top with grilled onions and jalapenos and y'all got a brisket sammy. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
