And...is that a Chevy Cavalier X24?

Z24, yes. Thing was a beast, I could take on Brand new Iroc Z28's at the time and get them by a car length. I purchased an '89 convertible and traded this one the very next year. Was never the same performer. Everyone thought I had the car chipped, or had mods done, it was just stock.

Sweet. I looked at them but I was still loving on my Camaro and passed, sadly.

As a 20 year old kid, it's what I could afford. Especially after the many Snap-On tool truck visits.

SNap-on was always out of my league. Too costly.

I sold my Camaro in 1989 and bought a Monte Carlo, which I quickly totaled on my way to work one morning. It's embarrassing having my station respond to me in an accident. Everyone was fine except the cars. My dad was a Chrysler guy, and talked me into buying a Dodge Shadow which I kept for the last 2 years of my life in Michigan. Sold that before I left Michigan and started my new life in California with a 1991 Camaro convertible. I gave that to my nephew when we moved to Arkansas, and bought a sweet Honda CRX which I absolutely loved! It was a 1991, ran perfectly and was a sweet ride. That went to Iowa with me and I drove it until the engine blew in 2006. That's when my truck obsession began.

Although I still have a lot of my old Craftsman tools. Those things were like the poor man's SNap-on.. Not fancy by very functional and last forever. I still have a old metal body jig saw that works perfectly. A few years back the cord frayed and it would gove you a mild shock when using it if you touched something grounded, but I re-wired the power cord with a three prong and it's perfect now. That thing is a beast. You can hammer nails with it if you're too lazy to get a hammer. :):)

Sears used to replace broken Craftsman tools for free. I exchanged a few tools, but I see Sears only has 20 stores left, and they will all be closing this year. I find them in other stores, but should find out if they still carry the same program. I used to mess up screwdrivers really bad.

It seems that Stanley Black & Decker. now owns the Craftsman label.

And they still carry the lifetime warranty. If it fails (i.e. you break it) they will replace it.

What are you peoples go to YouTube channels? I do mostly automotive content like Cleetus McFarland, VGG, Puddn's Fab Shop. But also enjoy Off the Ranch/Demolition Ranch. Recently I've found the Professor of Rock and a couple different sites that do electronics repairs on game consoles.

It's my decompression time after 9 when the kids should be off to bed. Yet in the summer, they really have no curfew. Did I mention my 8 year old, going to be 3rd grader learned Pi to 100 places? Actually 106 places. He picked it up in less than a week.

I get interested in one thing after another. Some at different times: "Saturday Night Live" skits, old TV ("Password," "Amos 'n' Andy," and others), "Early American," which shows a woman cooking 1820s recipes in the fireplace of a cabin also built 1820s style. Lately I've looked at several W. C. Fields clips.
