I've been off the dry cereals for a while now, but I used to love Frosted Flakes and Capt'n Crunch.

I still remember Ralph Nader's comment: it makes no difference if you eat the dry cereal or the box: the nutritional value is the same.

I'm actually back on cereal. Cheerios actually, but I can only use Soy Milk, which has 50% more calcium than regular milk, and suddenly I have 10 pounds of kidney stones....coincidence? I think so....

I used to love veal...until I saw how veal calves were raised in PA. I stick with filet mignon or ribeye as a result.

But that's me. ;)

My wife's big on Cheerios. I prefer Kashi, Great Grains, granola type cereals. And Coco Puffs. We usually use almond milk. How you milk an almond is beyond me, though.

The more I see about how animals are treated... calves, dairy cows, chickens, pigs... the more I consider going vegetarian. Some of that stuff is really heartbreaking/disgusting.

Yup, last glass of milk I drank was in 96.

Drank rice milk for a few years but it did not agree with me.
Drank almond mild until I learned there are really no almonds in it.
Drank coconut milk since, sometimes.
Most cereals don't like me.

I seem to drink water now. Think I mentioned something else I drink yesterday...

Yes...yes you did! Milk never agreed with me. I tried the Soy Milk about 8 months ago and tolerated with no issues, and since then, I'm back into the cereals. Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Corn Chex, Chocolate Chex...good stuff...but mainly Cheerios. I tried the vanilla flavored soy milk and the almond flavored soy milk and really didn't care for it. The original is the best IMO. For me anyways.

We buy our meat from reputable places... no hormones or antibiotics used, etc. Still, I agree.... the big farms use deplorable methods in so many cases. Maybe even the smaller farms.

lots of female vegetable hormones in soy and soy milk. Generations of male babies have been drinking formula made from soy and its not good for males for various reasons. Product of great marketing for decades and subsidized crops. Soy is also the hardest bean and most difficult to digest, which was my own main issue.

What is a reputable place to buy meat, and where do you find them?
