I like Fall here, followed by Spring, but it's getting too warm too early this year. Several days already in the 80's, and traveling to Tucson last weekend we hit 91 degrees on the road. Not looking forward to Summer.

Ditto, I am no fan of summer, although June temps are fine and lots of flower photopraphy. I like Fall for cooler air and tree leaf colour photo opps. Then comes what seems like 4-5 months of winter here - which we just got out of...

And now its Spring!

(It's like a yearly cycle or something... :-P )

Just looked at the weather; supposed to be 87 today :(
I think it's gonna be a short Spring.

Our winter lasted about a week. I was looking forward to jacket weather, and I think I wore one about twice.

I didn't know your area ever had jacket weather. I figured it got so hot in the summer, the heat held onto the sand and the rocks through the winter.

Seasons in order of preference for me:

Fall
Winter
Spring
Summer

I'm not a fan of summer at all. The best part of this upcoming summer is I had central air installed last fall.

Uh, no. Out in the desert it cools off a little at night, even in the summer. In Las Vegas, though, the streets and concrete buildings hold the heat; there are nights where it stays in the mid 90's.

What temp do you consider jacket weather?

Mid 40's I guess.
Maybe a long-sleeve shirt from 60ish to 45.

I get hot a lot easier than I get cold. And here I am living in the desert
I'm much more at home up in the NW.

I see. NW is too wet for me. Plus I like the 4 seasons.

I like 4 seasons... I just don't like how my favourite Spring and Autumn always seem to get short changed... many years in the past decade we get snow in November and it stays into March

If you're on the East side of the Cascades, it's relatively dry. I lived in Spokane and Ellensburg, and neither were overly wet, and we got four seasons.
