Best title I've had in some time ~ I'll be more scarse and 'Mostly Lurking'. That is the current plan. Cheers ~

Cream of the Crop? That's just sick and wrong...You must have really irritated someone.

Hmm, tough call. The current proprietor is pretty particular about his/her pickles. But I'd buy some.

I guess I must remind folks of BPE's illustrious history. I blame the public school system for the decay in real worldly pickle knowledge.

It makes a good pickle dip also, not that I've tried it myself ya know, but the lab rats are still healthy. I'd accept a check!

Who's Bob?

I as far as I can tell, with my limited scool'n, Bob was an abnormal guy who liked to fish but could only catch Perch. He was partners
with Norman and best friends with Louis. Bob told Norman, Louis was a stranger so they could secretly take over the emporium.
Bob was jealous of Norman's fishing abilities and devised a way to 'sink Norm's ship', so-to-speak. Evidently the plan worked, but had repercussions.
Bob, passed away from bad karma and was buried with a fish. That's when Louis stepped in, found the secret pickle recipes hidden in Bob's desk, and the rest is history.?

Bob's is actually an acronym for Bottom of the Barrel. Most of Bob's best product comes from the bottom of some type of barrel, be it pickle barrel or dumpster. A pickle only becomes a BPE pickle after it's been through the shop. Norm's ashes disappeared from the employee break room shortly after his passing, it's been rumored to have been dumped into the brine that's been used since BPE started over 100 years ago. I think it's why BPE has been so popular, It's packed fresh with a bit of Norm in every recycled bottle.

Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

So Bob's body was found in a dumpster or the bottom of a pickle barrel or both, hmm, interesting and sad at the same time.
But sad first, then interesting, ...or baffling.

I'm not sure Bob is dead, as he wasn't a person. It's an acronym, and acronym's don't die. Norm? He's dead, and his ashes have gone places ashes just shouldn't go.
