I think the thread died in anticipation of Jay showing up. Instead of waiting for him to kill it, the thread just decided to commit suicide.

Now, much like Doctor Frankenberry, Chuck went and revived it.

I DID have a comeback, but I am still suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Strike Disorder) out of fear of being warned. Post...get it? Post??? Play on words here...Post as in post in the forum post?
