It looks like time for a spider photo.

Well, I don't have enough good ones. Thanks for contributing.

Where's Jay?

I think he ducked under the bed when Little Spidey came out.

My pre-op went well. I'm healthy enough to be put to sleep.

I don't duck. I acquire arms with which to effectively do battle with the leggy little bastages...

Around here, "pre-op" is usually followed by "transsexual". So, what are you trying to tell us, Jay?

Or is it...

Jayleen?

No no...scoping my knee on Wednesday. Whats left of my meniscus is locking my knee up and causing considerable pain, so it has to come out. After that, total knee replacement before I hit 60, so in the next 4 years. I think it might be time to start off-loading some of my heavier gear.

I just signed up for Cortisone injections in my back... earlier today. I took an extra two months to think it over. I have some pie/wedge shaped vertebrae that cause me some discomfort and the shots might relieve that a bit.

We'll see.

The shots really do help my knee, as long as the meniscus was relatively intact. Since it's not, out it comes since there's not enough to repair, and I'll have the injections every 4 months if I need them. They say it can take a few weeks to work, but by day 3 I was totally pain free. Hope yours works well for you.

Good luck with that, I hope it helps!

I had been getting the shots for a few years, and usually I got about 6 months relief at a time.

Recently I have found that going to the gym and doing the "30 minute workout" which has a lot of arm stuff, keeps the pain way. Haven't had an injection in about two years now :)

Thanks, Jay and Jake.

Add Jim and you'd have the three blue Angry Birds.
