We could talk knitting. Anyone see the new Spectrum number 6 needled coming out at the Knitting o rama Vegas convention? State of the art, with ultimate grip and slip. To die for!

I hear Subby has balls of yarn

Fish with hats and that sort of thing is acceptable.

What about spiders with hats?

Fishing Spider?

gjl711 wrote in post #18334495 (external link)
It's actually afisher spider (external link). It's a bit bigger (a lot bigger) and lives on water. They look almost identical but their lifestyle is very different. We get them living in the skimmers often. Also, many drown and you'll see them on the bottom of the pool.

Nice!

Don't be scared of pumping up the f stop to get more depth of field.

Sorry about the photography talk

I was gonna mention that, but then considered where I was. Nobody wants to talk about photography stuff here.

Maybe he just wanted to draw attention to the egg.

I did that in later shots. f/11 looks much better. Sorry about the photography talk.

I wasn't sure what those were...

Umm, Chet. That's not a knitting needle. It doesn't however negate the fact that subby still has hanks of wool

We went on vacation with family. I was informed I get to shoot my nieces wedding (for free). Like I'm supposed to feel honored and privileged. Knowing how to use a camera can be a curse. Sure I would have to make the 600 mile commute to go to the wedding, but now I'll have to bring gear and a happy attitude. Not sure I can pull off the happy attitude. I should tell her 200 images max of the entire event.

You should tell her people usually pay for that sort of thing.

Tell her you're sick that day.

I normally charge for good advice like this, but for you, no charge.

You're welcome.

Suggest G&N shots. That should put a damper on it.
