It's a step up from having 8 pizzas sent to the neighbors you don't like..

WHy would you send pizzas to someone you didn't like?

They have to pay for the pizza's or explain to the poor delivery kid that they didn't order them, and try to send them back, making the poor delivery kid very uncomfortable and making the neighbors look like bad people.

Or so I'm told...

This was back in the day before you could pay over the phone with a credit card. That ruined everything.

That...and caller ID. When I order anything now, they know my address before I tell them.

Technology sucks.

Luckily, you can still stick someone's garden hose through their open window and turn on the fauce.

Or lean a bucket full of water against the front door and ring the doorbell.

Right? The classics will live on forever.

I will admit to one thing. I did put baby powder in the a/c vents of a not-so-very-friendly person's car in the middle of summer.

I was young and I now know better, but the car smelled awesome!

When I was first in the Air Force working in an electronics shop, I put talcum powder in the exhaust of a shop vac. It was a nozzle at the top, pointed straight up.

Boy, was that guy pissed when he switched it on.

But worth it, am I right?

Exactly. BTW, who uses the phone anymore to order a pizza? That is so last millennium.

When Caller ID was first offered, it seemed like the phone company's attempt to sell me extra stuff. I resisted the idea and didn't subscribe. (I haven't since, either.) Caller ID still strikes me as creepy, except for emergency services. The person on the other end isn't supposed to know who you are until you announce yourself! But it does seem to be popular. One benefit, I guess, is a decline in prank calls from kids. They expect the victim to be able to call back when their parents are home.
