Mersey Bluff
in very foggy conditions. Short while later and a pea-souper rolled in from the sea.
Bit eerie looking at it and thinking of its reason for existence

A shot I took in Aug.2018 while searching for a shipwreck off the coast of Newfoundland. This is the Rose Blanche lighthouse which is the most north lighthouse in North America. Heading out in the pre-dawn hours tomorrow to see about capturing a specific snow covered lighthouse in Michigan.

Indeed, nicely captured old stonework for such a foggy day. Did you find the shipwreck?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Thanks Ballen, it was very foggy that day and was surprised I was able to get this shot. Even sent the drone up to get some aerial shots and video... we found remnants of several other ships but not the one we were specifically looking for which went down in 1828...we know where it isn't and thus proves the history books wrong...

^ and I said to myself "I've seen that somewhere before!"

Don, I think this might be the same lighthouse - The Bug Light. I didn't know the name of it until you posted your shot above. In fact I had forgotten I even had it in my files until now.

I admit, that when I first read the name of that light I thought I read: "Bud Lite" and got thirsty.
