A bit of fill or reflector could have been used to take care of some of the shadows, but they're not detrimental to the pictures at all. Her smile is what makes these pictures very appealing. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

Bearing in mind, I don't carry reflectors or lighting gear when I'm in the wilds of Laos.. No mention of being in the "wilds"...she hardly looks like she lives in the jungle, so no reason to be a smart-a$$ about it. And, "You're welcome". But that's without knowing anything about what you're trying to do. What goal were you trying to achieve? Why did you present the pictures in this way? Hey Gene,, I just liked the natural progression of the images.. They are in the exact order I took them from left to right (three exposures).. From an almost embarrassed smile to a confident eye contact.. Jurgen

I listened to her story via an intrepretor and she kind of touched me.. Once framed, I'll hang this composite with my other images as a momento of a very driven, focused and humble girl.. Here is her story.. https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1003960
