This is one of my first attempts to photograph hummingbirds. There were several Anna's and Rufous which are really beautiful, but I have to say - for me this male broad-billed was incredible. I was using my 70-300L and had to crop quite a bit.

Mar 20, 2011 06:57 | #4 It was a very pretty hummer. The shot was on aperture priority. f/5 1/1600s at ISO3200. I tried to clean it up a little with pp due to the excessive crop to be able to see it. Canon 70D & a few Canon lenses
