Shots look fine but could use a little USM to crisp them up.

Not bad at all. I'd suggest getting a little lower to the ground, particularly when shooting youngsters... and, yep, add some USM to crisp 'em up a bit ;)

Ok, now that I have looked up what USM is, how mush is a little? I played around and did see an improvement, but what is the norm?

Thanks,

Jay

Thanks for the advice. I will try that in two weeks.

Great photos. Thanks for posting them.

Brings up an interesting question for me though. My kids aren't old enough for Little League sports, but I live close to a school whose LL football team practices daily. I've always wanted to take photos, but don't know if it's appropriate to hang out at these things without being the parent of one of the players. Any opinions?

I am actually for the other team, the Fayette County Blue Devils. My daughter is a cheerleader for the team.

LOL, I think you are just looking for something to "worry" about. I was at a high school game (I was there with one of the teams) and took pics. I was in the stands and said "if anyone wants pics just email me......"

The parents were drooling over me. "Can you get a pic of my kid" from like 5 of them. You aren't shooting from a tinted out van for god's sake...they are playing football LOL.
