Beautiful color! I'll second #4 as being the shot of the lot. Nice to see some live green grass as well.

According to the exif... it was a 1D MKIII + 400 2.8.

Nice shots...! The only nitpick for me (and I mean ONLY nitpick) is the horizons in #1 and possibly #4, but who the heck am I ;)... I can't wait for baseball to start here in Maine..!

Yeah, I was losing light and wasn't paying attention to my shutter speed....but I like a little motion in a shot sometimes......

Thanks Hckydad, and you are right about the horizons. That is one thing I am always missing in post.

The horizon is level. Look at the light pole in the background it's plumb. The field is also level. However, the way the fence looks makes the image look off-kilter.

Don't you, though? It gives the best glow.

Well... not to be "that guy" (cause nobody likes him) ;)..., I'm going to have to argue this  .....If you re-read my post, I said the horizon was off in #1, which I think is obvious... and possibly #4. If you use the pole in the background as a reference in #4, then yes the horizon may be correct. However if you use the roof, fence and pitchers plate, then there is the possibility the pole could be less than perfectly plumb. I have seen countless light poles that are leaning due to different reasons, so this led me to "possibly". And if it were me (which it's not), I would go with the majority in this case.

Sorry Bongo for editing your image... this was only to share a point. If you would like me to remove it, please let me know..!

The image below is an example... however I think either would work. And again... Nice work Bongo :D...!

good photos from baseball. like number 1, the player is in focus and the bat has motion gives some sense of movement in the image.

#2 is great shot, in fact I like all of them, but number 2 stands out for me.
