I am most-probably going to succumb to the need for new gear and buy a 60D. Any better deal out there than $899 for body and $379 for Pixma 9000 with $400 rebate? I could actually use the printer, or maybe flip it for $150 and end up with a brand new 60D for $728 or so.

Thanks.

Best deal would be waiting on the Sell forum when someone puts up a brand new one for $800. Happens every week.

Yeah, I certainly am considering that as well, but I kind of like the idea of picking up the printer and having a full warranty. Just weighing that against the annoyance of mail in rebate.

$799 - 20% (~$640 + local sales tax) through the CLP for a refurb w/ 90-day warranty would seem to be the best deal going.

That is The Deal. I didn't realize the 60D was in the CLP already. Thanks.

No problem, glad I was able to help (and save you some $$$).

Just called CLP - 60D not available. Not sure if it is hit or miss, like some models have been, or just not offered as of yet.

As far as I have seen teh 60D is still too new for the CLP program. As of last week when I ordered a refurbished one with the 10% discount it had yet to be offered...

That's a good price (I'm assuming free shipping, no tax, reliable seller). Where did you find it?

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

I apologize for that. I saw they had refurbished ones available, and just assumed that you could get one through the CLP. Sorry.

$1,479 is a good price, but it's more than double the $728 net price for the 60D. If the 60D is the camera you want, you should get your order in before they run out of stock or change the price.

Last I looked, a 7D through the CLP is $1087.20 + local sales tax.
