Don't waste your money it was a good game until the developers Abandoned it and never lived up to the grand promises. They have shifted everything from Global Agenda over to Tribes Universe where they will end up doing the same thing. I would not be surprised if the game was shut down before the end of this year and considering it's an MMOFPS you can't play it as a solo title once the multi-player servers go down.

You are missing the point. The proceeds go toward to Japan Relief effort. You're paying $5 with a coupon and helping people in trouble.

Who do you think will make more from the whole two days of charity Japan or HiRez?

This sale was all about viral marketing for the game which is barely supporting itself anymore. Those who bought the game to help charity would have never bought it anyway. So nothing was lost and they potentially gained some fresh meat to throw at hardcore PVP players who have been starving ever since Black Ops came out.

If you want to help Japan give your money directly to the Red Cross simple as that. Buying products that support charity usually ends up with the charity only getting a fraction of the money anyway.

How about both ?. The more people buying the game the more money Red Cross gets. I don't care if it's viral/deadly virus marketing. At least they're trying to help in their own way. Even you give to Red Cross doesn't mean all your money is going to Japan.

I trust Red Cross way more than Hi-Rez on this type of things.
