Well for the first time in what seems like years (okay maybe only "almost a year") I'm
actually home for longer than a few days at a time. I had a few favors owed to me by
a good friend who used to be a model. The sad part is it has been forever since I've
taken any pictures. On the same note its been 10+ years since she has modeled and
she is now extremely camera shy.

Feedback welcomed as always  :D

The first one was purposely off focus but the rest seemed to be OK on my screen?
Is it possible I over-did the processing when I was removing some of the noise in the photo?

I used a Digital Rebel XT with a Canon 50mm F/1.8 lens.
Here are the specs for each photo:

#1 - ISO 200, 1/200th shutter speed, F/3.2
#2 - ISO 400, 1/1000th shutter speed, F/2.8
#3 - ISO 200, 1/200th shutter speed, F/4.0
#4 - ISO 200, 1/250th shutter speed, F/4.0

Note: You can edit my photo just tell me how you did it ;)

I think that #2 is your strongest image. However I have to agree that the focus seems off unless you did somethingin post.

If you exposed them properly at the settings listed above you shouldn't have any appreciable noise, even with an xt.

Thinking about that now, you are right. I mean it probably doesn't help I was using my friend's PC and it does tend to get dusty (always outside with it). Maybe was dust on the laptop and I didn't realize it?

The link to the originals (both JPEG and .CR2 RAW) is here:
http://jwsquire.com/czn/potn/originals/ (external link) - I'll keep it up for 48hrs before removing.

Like I said the only one that was intentionality supposed to be out of focus was the first. Between that and fact its been what seems like
forever since I've picked up my camera or opened Photoshop/Lightroom... well tends to not have the best end result :-)
