I keep a multi-tool (Winchester Leatherman clone) in my lighting gear bag. So far I haven't had to use it, though it is there just in case.

just sharpened the cheap metal on my gerber covert mini. It's an ok knife, but i'm really looking to get a benchmade knife sometime in the future.

I picked up a Bastinelli (external link) Raptor GT6 at the Blade Show in Atlanta this weekend. This is possibly the most comfortable knife I have ever held.
