I didn't make myself clear. This one has a frame lock, which is desirable. The locking mechanism is part of the thickest part of the knife, the actual frame itself. Makes the locking mechanism sturdy.

A liner is a thin piece of metal which lines the frame, which may be made of a resin or plastic. Using the liner to lock the blade is not as stable as a framelock.

 Gotcha' thanks! ;)

Alex, who makes that knife?

That's a CRK Large Sebenza. After getting permission for the BFL, I sent it in to CRK for sandblasting. Sorry for the late reply :)

Please recommend to me a very well made production tactical folder, straight blade, either tanto or not, with a frame lock or similar strong lock, a 3.5-3.75" blade, G10 or other grippy handle, flipper opening if possible for a protected index finder choil, for about $250. Lighter than 8 oz. Ti frame if possible.

I have a ZT 0300, which is solid and fantastic, meets all the above, but is heavy.

The ZT Hinderer 0560 for example, but other makers.

My EDC is a Benchmade 470 Emissary.

I'm thinking about getting a Benchmade 810 Contego for ultra casual (e.g. jeans), since I still use my Benchmade 910 Stryker (discontinued).

Very nice Seapup. Is that a Cocobolo inlay?

No, it's Bloodwood inlay.
