I have an opportunity for a 1Ds very cheap but there are nothing with it. I have a spare battery that I have keep from my old 1D2 but that's it. What do you think of some 90 min.charger made for NP-E2-E3 battery like this one:
www.mydigitaldiscount.com/SPD/np-e3-np-e2-90min-fast-battery-charger-for-canon-nc-e2-np-e3-np-e2-90min-quick-battery-charger---cd-bcnpe3--80000255-1186149595.jsp (external link)
I know it doensn't have the refresh but i's very cheap and can make a good alternative
Thanks
A.

To be honest if you had gone into the 1Ds thread you could have already have got your answer but since you did not . Yes it works and you can do a refresh by draining the battery in camera this only needs to be done once in a while. I was not trying to be rude but most people just don't take advantage of those camera threads which are just full of info ,It's what I do most of the time when I have a question.

Thanks for the info. I'm too "legal" charger = accesories. Finaly this morning at my usual store talking with one of the photograph/saleman., he have one original charger left, so he give me. One of the connector are broken, but the other one are ok, so only one batterie at the time, but how care, it's free.

^avan... I purchased that same charger for my 1D-series bodies (Ds2 & D2N) a few years ago (July 2009)... Here's the archived thread on the "other" photog forum: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/779385/0 (external link)

In a nutshell, I'm still using it today... Whether it's packed for travel or on the road, it works and functions perfectly... Anyhoo... I hope that helps ya...

:)
