A watermark is possible with ps (actions), the tool BD sizer,... I have a small rectangular watermark with black background made in ps.

I tried the ps actions but it didn't work out well, can you download such a batch action somewhere?

Which tool do you use in batch, and are your watermarks positionned nicely and pecisely, do you select the same positions for horizontal and vertical pics or do you sometimes need to adjust manually when not positionned nicely?

I Googled "Watermarking Programs" and the first few results are stand alone applications. There are plenty of programs out there and I think the best approach is for you to try their free download periods and give them a go. What works for one person may not suit you.

Phase One is primarily a RAW conversion program and a very good one at that. It also doesn't come cheap though and would be a waste to buy for watermarking only. IMO, it is the best RAW converter on the market right now.

I use actions for all of my watermarking and I wrote mine based on the information that Rene provided you using Russell Browns Branding video as a basis. I've added more elements and some edging or borders. It works the same on landscape and portraits but that also will depend on what your watermark looks like.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
