It just looks like a "fold" to me.. If he were looking this way it would have been 10x's better..

When photographing pets, get down to their level. Never shoot a pet while you are standing, unless you are going for a specific look.
I don't really see anything in focus. Here are some good pet pictures (external link).

Not working at all for me.....the dog's head is just to hard to make out and what is up or right way or....I just got lost in the orientation.
