Connect Two Umbrella Flash Brackets to One Stand

I have one stand and would like to connect 2 umbrella flash brackets (kind of like these)

I would like to rig the stand so there are 2 flashes and 2 umbrellas attached to the stand - one at the top of the stand, the other near the bottom. The top flash and umbrella I don't have a problem with. But I'm hoping for some guidance on how to connect the other bracket near the bottom of the stand.

I removed the upright pole on the stand but it's too fat to fit through the hole on bracket.

Would a Manfrotto Spring Clamp work to connect the bracket to the stand?

The spring clamp wouldn't be strong enough. You'd be better off with a SuperClamp.

Yup, that's the one. And it's cheaper than the spring clamp you referred to in your previous post.

There may be a DIY solution but for $25.00 or so, I personally wouldn't bother with a DIY solution.
