I like walking around city hotels looking at the architecture, details, and people. There's nothing quite like laying on the lobby floor as guests pass you by:

Try laying like that in a state Capitol building. Nothing like explaining what the hell you're doing to the two security guards standing directly over you :D

You can take shots like this without lying on the floor if you have a swivel screen like the 60D or T3i. I do this frequently and also with the camera held over my head to shoot over crowds.

You would have your rump in the air and any dog would be gladly take advantage of you :lol: If you held the camera just above the ground to get this shot, there's a good chance your face would be in the picture.
