For some reason this image looks nothing like the Raw file. Perhaps it is just because I compressed it so much?

Taken on the East Coast of Ireland, yes... the East coast. Near Carlingford Lough on a small outcrop of land called Cranfield Point. I can only get this for about a week every year.

Usually, HDRs don't impress me. How did you process these? I ask because the HDR effect seems very understated.

LOL, I do try to do them understated. Processed in Photomatix, using settings similar to this guy's Artie (external link). I have never liked the full on HDR's much, if I can call them that. Thanks for your comments.
