Wow, that is pretty thick. So much seems to be burning at one time this year, vs other years?

There may have been some cloud cover too, but couldn't tell from all the smoke. Although it had been mostly clear till the wind switched to the North. Last year was so wet, this year so dry, makes a lot of fire.

I've had at least three other conversations, we seem to have a ton of burning late this year, or all at once in april, when usually late february thru April is the burning, and nothing quite as stacked as this year in NE Kansas. I haven't checked, but I think the big Barber County burn was put out on Easter, with that rain/snow system that went thru...
